The patient or carer can order the medication items that are on ‘repeat prescribing’ in their pharmacy, and these will automatically be notified to the pharmacy and placed on the work schedule of the dispensary, ensuring that they are prepared and ready to be collected on the date that the patient has indicated.
Prescription History
The patient or their approved carer can view their prescription and medicines dispensed history. This feature is particularly useful if the patient needs to access emergency or out-of-hours care, or when on holiday as it gives other health care professionals a full and clear view of the medication which the patient has been prescribed.
Pharmacy details
The Stacks Pharmacy App also provides the patient with contact details and opening hours of all Stacks Pharmacy. Patients can also take and send a photograph of any new prescription, thereby speeding up the time that the patient needs to spend in the pharmacy waiting for prescription to be filled.
It is a Regulatory requirement that the Pharmacist must review the original script and stamp it. We can keep your prescription safely on file for future orders.
A new prescription is a prescription that has not been previously dispensed in the pharmacy. A repeat prescription is a partly used prescription. To save you having to present the prescription each time we can securely hold it on file.
Please go to the Profile section on the App. Add Patient and enter their details. When ordering, please use the dropdown menu to select the patient name.
Regulations require the Pharmacist to review the original prescription. We can keep it safely on file so the pharmacist can review without you being present.
Yes, you can add family members to your profile and order and collect on their behalf. Please note we will need to gain written consent from the family member to do this.
We require your email so we can confirm your registration on the App, send you details if you need to re-set your password and email you a copy of your receipt if you are using the Click & Collect or Delivery service.
The email address for each registration needs to be unique. You can add multiple members on your profile if you have permission to order on their behalf.
